Electric fences are used as a barrier to stop people and animals from entering an enclosed area. Electric fences use electric shocks that range from an unpleasant feeling to shocks that can cause death.

In the present, electric fences are used in agriculture and in different domains where controlling the access of animas is needed.

Electrical fences are composed of:

–         uninsulated electrical cables

–         pillars that have insulated supports where you can attach the cables.

For monitoring the electric cables there are sensors that detect changes in the voltage of the cables, that are caused by touching them directly or with other objects.
