A sensitive cable is a special type o cable that is mounted on a fence for detecting intrusions in an area.
A sensitive cable can detect if the fence or the cable it’s cut, if someone tries to climb the fence or if someone is pulling the fence to make a space for him to pass.
A sensitive cable is mounted on a fence no more than 3 meters tall.
If the fence is taller than 3 meters, we will need another row of cable.
The two rows of cable are placed:
- one near the bottom of the fence
- an another near the top of the fence
The sensitive cable is connected to a device that analyses the signals that the cable sends and decides to send the alarm or not. The device can be programmed to ignore signals that are generated by the weather.
